Glen M. Pace is an accomplished businessman, lawyer, pastor, pilot and aviation enthusiast, and a child of the King! Glen lives in Columbia, Mississippi, with his wife and two dogs, Oscar and Bella. Glen and Theresa helped raise their two nephews which they consider their own children. They enjoy four grandchildren. Glen graduated high school at the age of 15 years old. He finished his first college degree at age 17 in EMS management and paramedical science at Delta Ouachita College in West Monroe, LA. In 1990 he completed Advanced EMS studies from the same institution. He has attended LHBI with a focus on Bible and pastoral studies. While pastoring in California and having been inspired by the Christian Law Association, he attended law school through a partnership law program after scoring almost a perfect LSAT score. He is currently enrolled at Liberty University where he is pursuing a Masters and Doctor in Aviation. Glen was 19 years old when he became the youngest director of a large EMS agency in Louisiana. Jamail Larkins was born on January 30, 1984 in Augusta, Georgia. He graduated from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University where he received a BBA. But his “life” began at the age of 12, when he took his first flight through the Experimental Aircraft Association’s Young Eagles Program and he became a passionate aviation enthusiast. Deciding he would do whatever it took to continue flying, Jamail began petitioning the FAA to let him fly solo at the age of 13. He didn’t get the answer he was looking for, so he headed to Canada where the minimum age requirement was only 14. It was there he became one of the Youngest American Pilots to fly a powered aircraft solo. A few years later at the age of 16, Jamail became the National Spokesman of the Experimental Aircraft Association “Vision of Eagles Program,” a youth education initiative which included EAA’s signature youth program, the Young Eagles Program. In this role, Jamail was able to use his passion to promote the career possibilities available to aviation enthusiasts, young and old alike. Despite being in high school, Jamail helped the organization reach its goal of exposing 1 million young people to the thrill of flight. With this newfound status and exposure, Jamail was afforded many unique opportunities, including the opportunity to become the first student pilot to solo the Cirrus SR20, a revolutionary certified, single-engine aircraft with a built-in parachute. Spreading his wings, Jamail purchased his very first airplane before graduating high school and branched out into aerobatic flying at the age of 18. Brock Booher is a Boeing 737 captain, author, and aviation risk management strategist with over 16,000 flight hours. His career began in the United States Air Force, where he flew the A-10 Thunderbolt II on missions in Europe and Northern Iraq, then served as a T-37 instructor pilot and Section Chief of Academics. Fluent in Spanish, he also supported counternarcotic operations at the U.S. Embassy in Lima, Peru. Brian Chevlin began his career as a Flight Instructor after completing flight school in 2007, initially intending to pursue a path to the airlines. Early in his instructing career, he discovered a true passion for teaching and for passing his knowledge on to the next generation of pilots. In 2011, he advanced to Check Instructor, and in 2015, he became an Assistant Chief Flight Instructor. In 2020, United Airlines announced the acquisition of the flight school he supported, which became United Aviate Academy. Felipe Santiago is an experienced commercial aviator and mechanic based in Miami, Florida. His family moved to the United States when he was very young, and Felipe seized every opportunity that came his way. With a passionate love for flight, he began his aviation career at just 12 years old, working at a flight school in exchange for flight time. Felipe quickly progressed in his aviation journey, obtaining both his Private and Commercial Pilot's licenses. He started flying banner towing operations to pay for his Instrument Rating. Growing up in General Aviation, Don began working part-time at Sporty’s in 1974 which provided the opportunity to pursue pilot training. He completed his first solo flight in September 1974 and earned his Private Pilot Certificate two months later. Over the past five decades, Don served as a USAF T-38 instructor pilot and F-16 fighter pilot, retired from the Air Force Reserve and completed a 34-year career with Delta Airlines as a captain on the MD-88, B- 737, and B-767. He’s held influential roles in aviation safety, including leadership positions with the Air Line Pilots Association and as president of the International Federation of Air Line Pilot’s Association. A recognized expert on pilot fatigue, he has co-authored multiple, internationally recognized aviation fatigue management guidelines. He served as co-chair of a FAA Aviation Rulemaking Committee that resulted in FAR 117. A Fellow of the Royal Aeronautical Society, Don works now as a consultant, mentor, and coach within Sporty’s Academy. He recently was awarded the Wright Brothers Master Pilot Award by the FAA for his unwavering commitment to safe flight operations for 50 years or more. Don is a graduate of the University of Cincinnati and lives in the Cincinnati area with his wife, Susan.

Dr. Kenneth Patrick Byrnes serves as the Flight Department Chairman and Assistant Dean of the College of Aviation at Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University in Daytona Beach, Florida. With over two decades of aviation leadership experience, he oversees one of the world’s largest collegiate flight training operations, leading more than 400 aviation professionals and 1,800 flight students. Dr. Byrnes holds a Ph.D. in Business from Northcentral University with specializations in Airline Management and Management of Engineering and Technology. His research and publications focus on safety culture, aeronautical decision-making, and flight training innovation. Dr. Byrnes is also a Six Sigma Green Belt and has he has significant experience as a Certificated Flight Instructor. He has been instrumental in the development and launch of next-generation aircraft such as the P-Mentor and the P2012 Traveller, positioning Tecnam as a key partner for flight schools and regional carriers worldwide. A passionate advocate for regulatory advancement, he actively engages with industry stakeholders on initiatives like MOSAIC, working to bridge the gap between manufacturing innovation and pilot education.

Scott Angelo is the Co-founder and Chief Revenue Officer of UpskillAir, where he helps drive the company’s mission to modernize workforce training through neuroscience-driven technology. A retired U.S. Navy Commander and former Naval Aviator, Scott brings more than two decades of leadership, operations, and aviation experience to his work. During his Navy career, Scott flew the P-3 Orion, C-130, and C-37 (G-550) aircraft on global missions that included counter-narcotics operations in Central America, reconnaissance and logistics in the Middle East and Africa, and worldwide fleet support. He later held senior leadership roles, including Commanding Officer of Navy Reserve Center Milwaukee and Executive Officer of Naval Air Facility Washington, where he oversaw base operations supporting more than 4,000 service members. In addition to his role at Upskill, Scott is a First Officer with United Airlines. He holds a Master’s in National Security and Strategic Studies from the U.S. Naval War College and an MBA from the University of North Carolina’s Kenan-Flagler Business School.

Dan Roehrs is an aviation operator, strategist, and advisor who focuses on general aviation business transformation and, in his corporate career, on private equity-backed growth companies. Dan has served as General Manager of the United States Air Force Academy's Flight Training Center in Colorado Springs, where he lives. He is a former Gulf War Veteran with the USAF and Illinois Air National Guard, serving as an F-16 crew chief and continuing to work with the Air Force Aero Club system as a consultant. He currently serves on the Colorado Springs Airport Advisory Commission and has previously served on airport governance boards including Spartanburg Downtown Memorial Airport. He also contributed to early development efforts at Triple Tree Aerodrome, one of the most recognized general aviation gathering sites in the United States. Dan's current aviation work spans hundreds of flight school marketing and sales growth, operations, aircraft leasing & utilization, and other various business transformation efforts. He sits on the board and/or is an advisor to several aviation companies, most recently, Flycore CRM. Throughout his aviation work, Dan continues to develop emerging pilot training models designed to improve training outcomes and economic efficiency. He frequently speaks on the future of flight training, aviation entrepreneurship, and the intersection of aviation operations with agentic AI.

Micheal Sykes received a B.A. degree in Economics from Claremont McKenna College in 1985. He joined Continental Business Service / CBS Payroll in August of 1985 as a staff accountant in the Bookkeeping division. During his 17 year tenure Micheal has held the positions of Service Representative, Sales Representative, Branch Manager, and starting in 1991 as President and CEO. As CEO, Micheal transformed the business from a family operated single state bookkeeping company to a multi-state employer services firm with over 375 employees. In 2002 Micheal negotiated the sale of CBS Payroll to Intuit, Inc., the makers of Quickbooks, Quicken, and Turbo Tax. Micheal worked for Intuit for 18 months to aid in the transition process of CBS Payroll to Intuit. Michael is the co-founder and CEO of US Aviation Group, DBA US Aviation Academy. US Aviation Academy began in January of 2006 as a three aircraft flight school and one man maintenance shop. US Aviation Academy, over the last 19 years, has grown to become a world recognized leader in professional flight training with a fleet of over 165 aircraft operating from seven training bases. US Aviation Academy also operates a FAA approved Airframe and Powerplant Maintenance Training Academy operating from four campuses. Micheal has flown personal aircraft for over 40 years as a private pilot and has logged over 1800 hours. He holds a private pilot license is commercial & instrument rated and has a multiple engine commercial rating. He is married and has two adult children.

Her authority as an industry thought leader is wellestablished through her conference presentations and active membership in organizations such as Women in Aviation International, the Organization of Black Aerospace Professionals, Black Women in Aviation, and the Flight School Association of North America, to name a few. Adding to her significant influence, Monica sits on the Elizabeth City State University Department of Aviation and Emergency Management Advisory Board. She also brings experience organizing impactful collaborations. She is known for identifying and connecting the ‘unseen’ dots for long-term workforce development strategies alongside economic development directors, commissioners, industry leaders, and DOT. She has sat on Advisory Boards for Career Technical Education and the Workforce Development Board in North Carolina. Furthermore, Monica serves as the Chief Operating Officer (COO) for a registered non-profit, Black Women in Aviation, demonstrating her commitment to fostering a proactive, rather than reactive, approach to advancing a qualified future workforce in the field. She is also the visionary behind the recently launched, highly successful traveling immersive careerconnected learning program for middle and high-school grade levels, Aero Xperience: Aviation in Action across North Carolina and in Delaware Spring 2026. Scottie Burge brings over 25 years of military aviation experience to FlyME Downeast Flight Safety and Training. Originally from Scotland, he served in the Royal Air Force flying the MR2 on maritime surveillance missions around the world. Over the course of his career, he logged more than 5,000 flight hours, deployed on numerous operations and international exercises, and completed senior leadership training at the UK Defense Academy. He retired as a Wing Commander, serving as Air Advisor to the Commander of UK Maritime Forces. Following his military career, Scottie relocated to the United States, where he earned his FAA certifications and went on to serve as Chief Flight Instructor at multiple flight schools under both Part 61 and Part 141 programs. He also conducted corporate flight operations under Part 91 before joining the FAA as an Aviation Safety Inspector in Louisiana, where he served as a Principal Operations Inspector. Now based in Maine, Scottie leads FlyME Downeast with a focus on practical, safety-driven flight training rooted in real-world experience. He also serves as Chief Pilot for the Northeast Region of the Civil Air Patrol and volunteers as a pilot with the Owls Head Transportation Museum. Scottie lives in Maine with his wife, a former U.S. Navy pilot and current Delta Air Lines pilot, and their two children.

Thomas is a Commercial, Multi-engine, Instrument pilot and a former CFII. He graduated from the The John D. Odegard School of Aerospace Sciences at The University of North Dakota with a degree in Commercial Aviation. Thomas has been at ForeFlight for more than 12 years leading a number of teams, and currently leads Training Products for Jeppesen ForeFlight.
